My name is McCallah Moriarty, I am a curve model and former Professional Ballet Dancer! Growing up in the ballet world as a 5”10 curvy girl was not easy. I was constantly being asked to change and to fit into a mold that I physically could not. I struggled a lot with body confidence and had a difficult time feeling comfortable in my skin. After 6 years of fighting my natural shape, I picked up my life and moved to LA to try and find an industry that would love me for me. To my surprise I was scouted to be a curve model with Wilhelmina. I never dreamed I would be able to model, I had never seen women who looked like me in magazines. That is until I saw Kate Upton for the first time! I had spent my life wishing for a breast reduction, but after I saw her on the cover of sports illustrated I changed my mind. She made me feel seen, she made me feel beautiful. Equal representation in media is needed. Women deserve to feel seen and not feel pressured to look a certain way to feel beautiful. I want to make women feel empowered and confident. To tell them that they are unique and powerful and can do anything they set their minds to! I would love to be apart of the SI Swim movement. Women supporting women ❤️❤️❤️
